Olivko extra virgin olive oil 250ml is the smallest single bottle in the Olivko range — right for trying it before you buy a larger size, or if you only use olive oil raw now and then.
Small bottle, same quality
What is inside the 250ml bottle is the same as the 500ml and the other Olivko bundles:
- Extra virgin olive oil from Tunisia, 100% single origin
- Bottled at source, no repacking
- Free acidity below 0.2% (lab result: 0.18%)
- Total polyphenols of approximately 500 mg/kg
- Halal (recognised by JAKIM)
Acidity is the basic indicator of olive oil quality. The IOC limit for extra virgin is 0.8%, so Olivko sits far below it. The full explanation is in our Olivko olive oil guide.
The best way to taste it
To get to know an extra virgin olive oil, taste it raw. Pour a little into a small dish and dip some bread, or drizzle it over a simple salad. Notice the fresh aroma and how it feels at the back of the throat.
- Dip bread into the oil with a pinch of salt.
- Drizzle it over sliced tomato and cucumber.
- Finish soup or hummus with a few drops before serving.
- Use it for a light sauté over moderate heat.

When to move up a size
- Olivko Duo 250ml — two compact bottles with a free Madu Habbatussauda; one can be a gift.
- Olivko 500ml — once you are using it every day.
- Olivko Duo 500ml — a litre with the free honey, for a busy kitchen.
The single 250ml bottle does not include the free gift; the Madu Habbatussauda is for Olivko bundles only.
Small and easy to carry
A 250ml bottle fits in a lunch bag or an office drawer, so it is easy to take along for packed lunches. It also suits small households or anyone living alone.
Storage
Keep it somewhere cool and dark, away from the stove and light, and close it tightly after use. Check the expiry date on the packaging. AlSultanFood, the shop of Olivko’s official importer in Malaysia, delivers across Malaysia.
Recipe: a simple fattoush salad
- Chop cucumber, tomato, radish and salad leaves.
- Add chopped mint and parsley.
- Toast or dry-fry pieces of pita bread until crisp.
- Toss everything with two tablespoons of Olivko, lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
A 250ml bottle is enough for several salads like this, so you can taste the oil in different dishes before deciding on your next size.
A small gift that means something
The boxed 250ml bottle also makes a neat small gift — for a guest, a teacher or a colleague. If you want to give to more than one person, the Olivko Duo 250ml gives two bottles plus a free Madu Habbatussauda.
Extra virgin, pure or light?
On a supermarket shelf you will see several kinds of olive oil. In short:
- Extra virgin: the top grade, extracted mechanically without chemical refining, with an IOC acidity limit of 0.8%.
- Virgin: also unrefined, but with a higher acidity limit.
- Pure / olive oil: usually refined oil blended with a little virgin oil.
- Light: refers to a mild taste, not to fat content.
Olivko is extra virgin with acidity below 0.2% — the 250ml bottle is the easiest way to taste the difference for yourself.
